The Rebound : Guilty As Charged

사랑은 언제나 진행중? 이란 센스를 상실한 제목으로 개봉된 작품 하나가 있었다.
더 리바운드. 40대의 캐서린 제타 존슨을 다시 볼 수 있었던게 좋았던 영화이고, 40대인데도 불구하고
엄청난 매력을 발산해서 더 좋았던 영화이다.

최근에 개봉된 러브 코미디 작품들 중에서는 최고로 배꼽잡고 웃었던 성공작이 아닌가 싶다.
또 이 영화가 개봉된 후, 나를 비롯한 수많은 사람들이 가장 많이 궁금해 했던 것은 OST에 대해서였던 것 같은데
그 중에서도 주인공 두 남녀가 포스트 모더니즘으로 각색된 '탑건'을 본 후에 가게된 바에서 댄스와 함께 흘러나왔던
끈적끈적한 이 음악을 모두들 찾고 또 찾지 않았을까 생각한다.

정육점의 빨간색 등 앞에서는 누구나 젊고 아름답게 보인다는 명언이
새삼 다시 생각났던 그 장면이 나 또한 아주 인상깊었다.

plus this face is too pretty to be in a penitentiary
